X-Blades is a 3rd person anime style action/adventure in development at Gaijin Entertainment. Your female heroine weilds two magical blades, which either can be used as swords or guns, and also has magical abilities, all of which are upgradable. Spread over 20 locations, dozens of uniques enemies, the game also features 2 two different endings.

X-Blades is the first action game in anime-style developed in Russia, executed in the best traditions of this genre and will certainly astonish the users with its beautiful graphics and many other elements as well, such as intriguing plot, unusual enemies and rich arsenal of murderous skills and magic, which allows the user to fight monsters as efficiently as spectacular. For those who are longing for epos the developers propose to become part of a legend of a mysterious artifact, hair-rising curse and secrets of ancient civilizations.

Users keen on slashing combats will find a huge variety of ways of eliminating countless enemies. Two powerful gunblades which the heroine always carries about allow the user to make a real slaughter in close combat and also feel like an habitue of a shooting gallery. Apart from all kinds of standard guns, which may be everyway upgraded, the arsenal includes more than fifteen smashing spells – so no one would begrudge the heroine’s enemies.

X-Blades features a special combination of cinematic style, beautiful animation, and relentless, high speed gameplay. Players assume the role of Ayumi, a stunningly seductive yet tenacious heroine who battles enemies with her pistol blades, acrobatic ability, and magic spells. With full anime cut scenes, the story unfolds revealing demonic powers and spectacular landscapes, all ripe for exploration and battles.

When Ayumi isn't using her effective combat spells, she faces up to the enemy hordes with naked blades and explosive projectiles. Since the unique Gunblades are a combination of sword and pistol, the heroine can change her combat style lightning-fast. Surrounded by countless opponents, Ayumi uses both blades with deadly accuracy in hand-to-hand combat. She's well versed in various combat techniques - and she makes full use of them to cut her way through the ranks of the monsters. The player is rewarded with special finishing moves for carrying out particularly successful combos.

Fire Rage: You know what they say. Don't play with fire if you don't want to be burnt. Well I've love playing with fire and when I do, some things really do get burnt. In my many travels I learned how to create a ring of fire that allows me to incinerate everything around me. Not only is this power good for getting out of a sticky situation, it's also great for warding off troublesome boys who think I need their help. (Requirement: Fire Blades)

Ice Arrow: I got this spell on one of my trips into the icy world of the mountains, where I came across a settlement of beings that seemed to be half-antelope and half-human. I hid and watched how they hunted Yetis using these Ice Arrows. The arrows froze the Yetis stiff for a while. I knew that frozen enemies would be easy meat (or ice) for my blades – but it's easy to carry out a long-range attack on a frozen opponent too.

Galapagos: After screwing up the Giant Galapagos, The Dark began manufacturing a smaller version of the same creature. The clones were twice as small as the original, and although they didn't have much stamina and their armor was weak, they obeyed orders without question. So of them were altered so deeply they became all but invulnerable to Light magic.

Depressors: The Dark uses these ancient and partially restored machines to control the creatures it's changing. For example, Depressors were used to guard captured Pangolins during their transformation into warriors and servants of the Dark. These ancient creatures are heavily armored and equipped with huge machine guns; however, due to their construction, their reaction times are slow. Depressors are highly susceptible to electricity, which causes its microschemes to short circuit.
