'Knights in the Nightmare' (NDS) Revealed - Screens

Knights in the Nightmare requires players to throw out everything they know about RPG and strategy games and embrace something altogether new and fresh. Frantic, energetic action mixes with thought-provoking tactical gameplay, all within a beautifully rendered fantasy setting and presented through a captivating, emotional narrative.

Knights in the Nightmare is a turned based RTS, with the main character being a wisp, a spirit without a body, who takes controls of knights by charming them and giving orders, the main heroine is a female knight named Maria.

Top screen is graphical, bottom screen is wiremap strategic. You control the wisp with the touchpen and use it to give knights orders, each turn is time based, there offensives and defensive turns, plays out in realtime. Demons will aim for the wisp, so you have to avoid them, like in a shooting game

Knights in the Nightmare is being developed by Sting, game design/director is Shinichi Itou, game design/director is Shinichi Itou, design creation is Satoko Kiyuzuki ( Yggdra Union), and Illustration by Sunaho Tobe (Riviera, and Yggdra Union).

Knights in the Nightmare is currently only scheduled for release in Japan, somewhere in 2008.
