Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

NHL 2K9 (PS2/Wii/PS3/X360)

Developed by Visual Concepts, an award-winning 2K studio, NHL 2K9 brings a totally rebuilt NHL experience to life with fresh player animations and a brand-new in-game presentation that fans will enjoy from the moment they start their first game.

“With Visual Concepts developing the NHL 2K franchise for the first time, we’re very proud and excited to deliver to our 2K Sports fans a refreshingly fun and entertaining hockey experience with NHL 2K9,” said Greg Thomas, senior vice president of sports development for 2K. “As the only officially licensed NHL title for Wii, along with our pick-up-and-play controls and fresh new features, NHL 2K9 brings the fun back to hockey video games for fans of all ages.”

NHL 2K9 offers brand-new gameplay features including expanded superstar moves, friendly Zamboni® competitions, a revamped fighting engine, custom Stanley Cup™ celebrations, and six-on-six online capability. As the first and only officially licensed NHL and NHLPA video game for Wii, NHL 2K9 will also provide fans with a chance to play like the pros using the Wii Remote™ as a hockey stick, a wholly unique and entertaining experience.

A free demo of NHL 2K9 is also now available for download on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network. The demo provides fans an opportunity to relive the excitement of this past season’s thrilling Stanley Cup™ Final in a brief three minute period as either the Pittsburgh Penguins or Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

NHL 2K9, rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and older, is now available for Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 and PS2.

Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile (PC)

Assume the role of Hercule Poirot as you investigate a savage murder and find hidden clues, interrogate suspects, and much more in Agatha Christie's classic whodunit, Death on the Nile. Uncover clues and evidence tied directly to the story. When you have enough evidence, question the passengers in the salon and discover the identity of the real murderer!

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI (PC)

From legendary video game producer Kou Shibusawa comes another historical simulation masterpiece. Rediscover an ancient civilization with an explosive history in the most stunning edition of Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Set during the end of China's Han Dynasty and the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D., RTKXI presents the most visually captivating evolution in the history of the series. Blurring the line between video games and art, RTKXI features visuals evocative of classical Chinese ink-paintings along with debates and duels rendered in real-time 3D animation.

As the ruler of a kingdom, each player will have complete control over their territories. More than 40 base commands give players the power to govern cities, manage their personnel, practice diplomacy and much more. Complete freedom to develop markets, shipyards, outposts, forts and military units expand on the already substantial benchmarks established by previous editions of the series. Furthermore, players will watch the era come to life through the uniquely individual personalities of the more than 780 officers and supporting characters they will encounter.

Players will need to dig deep within to prove themselves adept at both the military and political arts in order to bring China under one rule. Domestic affairs, diplomacy and warfare are all conducted on a single vast 3D relief map, dramatically bringing to life the eight massive scenarios that lie before them.

For improved control over each military campaign, RTKXI's turn-based game play allows the player to plan their movements without undue time constraints, and then execute their battle tactics when ready. RTKXI also introduces an entirely new system for researching military techniques, as well as an Advanced Tactics System that allows players to drive or lure enemies into devastating ambushes. Skilled players will be able to link together tactics for maximum damage.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI is rated "E10+" (Everyone 10 and older – Alcohol Reference, Mild Blood, Mild Language, Violence) by the ESRB. RTKXI is for one player. The game's suggested retail price is US$19.99, vailable only through digital download at Direct2Drive.com and Trygames.com
