According to the Nikkei business, Nintendo is working on a new version of its popular NDS handheld, one that lets users snap photos (and possibly let those be used in-game) and play music, allowing it to compete with the iPod or cell phones. According to the report, the new DS will retail for about 20,000 yen ($189) in Japan by the end of the year and come equipped with advanced wireless communication functions.
