Former Rainbow Studios Developers Launch New Studio

by Rainier on Sept. 29, 2008 @ 6:06 a.m. PDT

Former Rainbow Studios senior developers Panya Inversin, Patrick Bergschneider, and Daniel Pratt have started a new development house Coin App. With prior game credits such as the ATV Offroad Fury series, Splashdown, The Punisher, and Baja: Edge of Control, Coin App. is currently in production of its first console title.

"We look forward to sharing our game and development model. We are proving that it is possible to make a stellar game, with a very limited budget, without the need to sacrifice content or quality," says Inversin, President and Game Designer. "The focus at Coin App is on game quality, innovation, and productivity."

By analyzing previous game-creation experiences, Coin App has streamlined the process to be much more efficient during the development cycle.

Coin App is already in production of its first title for the console market and looks forward to sharing it with the gaming community. The company has enough resources to complete its initial game and is currently looking for funding and talent for future expansion.
