'AionGuard' (PS3/X360) Revealed

by Rainier on Jan. 12, 2009 @ 10:05 a.m. PST

The newest Edge issue reveals that Avalanche is not only working on a sequel to Just Cause, but also another open world title what it describes as a mix of "WWI dogfighter pilots, Samurai and medieval knights." Already in development for two years, AionGuard will have you control armies of thousands, and pilot-able dragons as you wage war against the Nazurbaal, who are harvesting the world's magical powers. As you progress through regions, each one will have an enemy stronghold, so you can disrupt supply lines, capture power sources, and befriend local tribes to make your battles easier.
