SAW (PS3/X360/PC)

SAW touts its own unique story arch that is both congruent and in-line with all the horror and suspense that the SAW  films have become famous for. To further immerse players into the SAW universe, actor Tobin Bell has reprised his role as Jigsaw, the methodical villain, who is the cornerstone of the SAW franchise, to constantly taunt and tease players as they are tested in Jigsaw's game set in an abandoned asylum.

"Konami and Lionsgate are going to make October 2009 an epic month for horror fans," said David Daniels, Director of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. "With SAW the game coming out just before the expected release of SAW VI, we are going to make this October an unprecedented month of terror for SAW fans worldwide. "

"We are excited that the SAW fans get to experience Jigsaw in a virtual way just before the upcoming release of SAW VI," said producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules of Twisted Pictures.

In SAW, players jump back into the SAW chronology as the game pits you in between SAW I and SAW II, playing as Detective Tapp, seeking out the true identity of Jigsaw. As with the films, SAW is all about choice, and the choices you make will determine how long you survive this sinister game. Puzzles, mini-games, exploration and intense combat keeps players engaged in this suspenseful and maniacal game of survival as Jigsaw tests them. Oh, and then there are the traps, of course. Players will come in contact with iconic traps from the films as well as brand new traps that will force players to make hard decisions as to who lives and who does not.

SAW, rated M for Mature, is now available in retail stores on X360 and  PS3 system for $59.99, while a PC will be available as download later this month for $49.99.

Topatoi (PS3)

As some of you possibly know, Topatoi has been released in Europe, Asia and Australia earlier this year. The game sticks to the old school traditions of the puzzler platformers (like, say, Bubba 'N Stix or The Lost Vikings), including emphasis on the original concepts and unique immersive gameplay. In short, the core of Topatoi's gameplay is based on the fact that player controls a small explorer vehicle that works like a spinning top. So the spin needs to be controlled carefully, as it affects the device's movement and behaviour.

It is the first part of the saga “topatoi”- the dynamic arcade game on the one hand, and a unique blend of puzzle and platformer on the other. It combines the best features of the predecessors and provides absolutely new gameplay experience. Being exciting, nice and highly captivating, this game appeals to everyone.

“topatoi” puts you at the controls of a fantastic gyroscopic hovercraft, which handles much like a futuristic whirligig. Spin it around a mysterious, unexplored corner of a remote world in an effort to repair your crashed airship and attempt to rescue your girlfriend. Help the hero, Raph, through the intricate and dangerous world of the Great Tree, combat hostile natives and negotiate with the inhabitants of a fantasy world. Success in your main mission will unlock more than ten bonus levels and an interesting multiplayer split-screen mode to further shake-up your playing experience.

It is a really great present for all PlayStation 3 owners, who interested in playing on their powerful consoles. Puzzle, platformer and arcade fans will be gladdened by a great number of unforgettable adventures in the mysterious worlds built around immense pillars. Classic platforming action and a lot of interesting puzzles played out across a variety of colorful storyline and bonus levels – it is “topatoi: The Great Tree Story”.

Key Features :

  • Multiple worlds/environments. The environments not only look different, but also have some treats that affect gameplay.
  • Various types of puzzles. And plenty of enemies as well!
  • Breathtaking physics model. As you see, Topatoi is mostly about physics, so this part is certainly well-crafted to provide truly unique experience.
  • Multiplayer modes. Topatoi delivers a very good field for a challenge. Which is quite unusual for that type of the puzzle games. There'll be an update on this a little bit later. We'll show you why this point really matters.
