'Atlantica Online' Fall Update Adds New Punisher Class, Features, Balance Tweaks

Atlantica Online is bringing back turn-based and strategic gameplay to give a fresh face to the MMO world. A thinking person's game, Atlantica Online gives players the chance to really strategize using the combat, mercenary and city/country management system.

Atlantica Online is a strategic turn-based MMORPG that combines innovative combat with character/party development and city/country management. Players take on the quest to destroy the Oriharukon, a powerful energy sensor from the lost civilization of Atlantis that survived and is now endangering humanity. This journey will take players around the globe, to locations like the Great Wall of China and the pyramids of Egypt, and they will come face-to-face with monsters ripped from history and lore, such as the ruthless Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu and Dracula.

Ndoors Interactive will be adding a new mercenary class in Atlantica Online, just one aspect of a large Fall update to the game that brings a variety of new features, fixes, and fun.

The ‘Punisher’ is the third and final mercenary to roll out this year, following the introduction of the Hwarang and Minstrel Paganini earlier this year. A melee character at heart, the ‘Punisher’ wields the almighty Power Saw and is available to players of level 102 or greater.

The Diary feature is a convenient addition that will be included in the update, which will allow players to maintain a “To Do List” and keep up to date with Atlantica Online. What’s more is that with the aid of Atlas Ore, quest and free league reward times can be increased in the Diary.

To reward ambitious adventurers, the new Monster Origin Info fills out the Monster Information profiles and gives the player a ten percent experience boost when battling a monster that has been fully researched.

To keep players in style, the Clothes Book has been added as a place to store all clothing and hats. Storing new items of clothing will reward players with Collection Points.

The Fall update comprises a slew of new features and adjustments to improve overall gameplay and optimize the player’s experience. On the eve of the game’s one year anniversary in North America, Ndoors is committed to improving the game’s balance and offering fresh new content to keep things interesting.
