Dino D-Day is a fast-paced, action-packed multiplayer game set in an alternate World War II where Hitler and the Nazis have resurrected dinosaurs and unleashed them on the Allies.

Dino D-Day is an exciting new First Person Shooter from Digital Ranch Interactive.  You’ll play as Sgt. Jack Hardgrave, a renowned paleontologist who thought he put his career on hold to go to war…then Hitler resurrected dinosaurs and unleashed them on the Allies in 1942.  When the Fuhrer’s monster army saw battle for the first time in North Africa Hardgrave was on the front lines – nearly getting eaten alive by beasts he spent his life studying.

If you’ve ever thumbed through a dinosaur book wondering if a .30 caliber bullet could drop a Utahraptor – your time has come.

Dino D-Day is being developed on Valve Software’s Source engine – the same technology behind Halflife 2, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2.  The first installment of Dino D-Day will be a singleplayer game but we plan to include a multiplayer game along with it.  Suffice it to say it will be sweet to kill your online buddies with the aid of some bloodthirsty dinosaurs.

Digital Ranch Interactive has made an early build of Dino D-Day available on ModDB as an HL2 mod for anyone interested.  This build is an early prototype that should give people a taste of what the game will be like.  Gamer feedback is most welcome – we’ll take it all into account as we work on the commercial release.
