Ruffian Games have put out a final call for developers to join their merry band on a journey to make awesome games. Ruffian’s recruitment drive is near an end and the places remaining are few. Development Director Gareth Noyce said:
“We’re very close to capacity now and have limited roles to fill in both programming and art. Check out our careers page for a once in a lifetime chance to join one of the best teams I have ever worked with. We need you”
Ruffian was formed by a group of industry veterans who have made major contributions to Grand Theft Auto, Fable 2, Crackdown and many other major titles. Their aim is to make the best action games the world will see and in the past few months have grown a team to meet that goal. Studio Head Gaz Liddon said:
“We’ve been really lucky with the response to our push for new Ruffians. From the thousands of applications we’ve managed to hire some hugely skilled guys. Our managers have been really picky about who they’ve brought on board. To be honest as a studio head with headcount goals to hit that has made me a little anxious at times. But that fastidious approach was exactly right; making great games is about quality not quantity. We have an amazing team with no filler.”
Ruffian continues to work hard with one of the world’s biggest publishers on an as yet un-announced title and anticipating their move to new offices in the not too distant future
