SouthPeak Interactive joined the membership ranks of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade association for U.S. computer and video game publishers, the first new member of 2009.

“We welcome SouthPeak Interactive to the ESA, and look forward to experiencing first-hand the array of creative products for which it is known,” said Michael D. Gallagher, CEO of the ESA. "We are proud to represent the entire video game industry and look forward to working closely with SouthPeak Interactive’s leadership and its employees as we continue to fight piracy, combat unconstitutional legislation, and expand our industry’s contributions to the economy and society overall."

As one of the nation's fastest growing entertainment software companies, SouthPeak Interactive develops innovative games for every taste, in genres that include action/adventure, role playing, racing, puzzle strategy, fighting and combat. SouthPeak's broad selection of video game titles includes the My Baby series, Two Worlds, Big Bang Mini, Velvet Assassin, Ninjatown and Section 8.

“Our industry needs a strong and active trade organization and we are pleased to support that effort,” said Richard Iggo, Vice President of Marketing for SouthPeak Interactive. “We look forward to participating in the many programs and opportunities provided by the ESA.”

The ESA looks forward to adding SouthPeak Interactive’s talent and creative energy to the association’s membership of world-leading computer and video game companies.
