Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation announced thats its cloud application will be fully available on all public beta EVO Smart Console units, and users can instantly create accounts online
at VirtualEVOConsole.com. The Web invitation will let new users access the cloud and experience new EVO applications.
Envizions has partnered with EyeOS cloud community. EyeOS is a free software project that develops the cloud computing's operating system. EyeOS is the new definition of operating system, where everything - desktop and applications - can be used from everywhere through a Web browser. Envizions' cloud will evolve over time to incorporate new features and applications.
EyeOS has designed the new custom EVO cloud application, with Envizions doing continued upgrades over the summer. Each EVO console comes equipped with a 120GB hard drive, but for customers who want more space, they can offload their content, files, applications, videos and business files to the Envizions' server. Basic accounts are free, while premium accounts require a monthly subscription. Detailed pricing will be displayed on Envizions' Web site for bigger storage and cloud services.
Current EyeOS members can use the same tools and applications to create new applications or widgets for the EVO cloud. The Envizions' open source cloud is a great platform for developers to create as Envizions shifts toward its new final software upgrade called, "Mirrors Evolution X." "Our goal and focus is to continue to expand the EVO platform and create the most user-friendly experience for all our customers," states CEO and Founder Derrick Samuels.
EVO is the first open source gaming platform that combines several devices into one unit at low-cost price. One system supports DVR, DVD player, gaming, Internet, cloud, Internet TV and PC in an all-in-one unit.
The EVO Smart Console is currently in a three-month public beta; the new upgraded software, Mirrors Evolution X, will be released this summer.
