Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

The Destiny of Zorro (Wii)

Featuring Zorro, the legendary swordsman and defender of the people, The Destiny of Zorro marks the debut of the videogame experience on the Nintendo Wii platform in North America. The Destiny of Zorro captures the timeless heroism of the mysterious masked swordfighter, providing non-stop action for Zorro fans and gamers of all ages to enjoy.

"The Destiny of Zorro on the Nintendo Wii brings an enduring, heroic icon to a new generation," said Adam Kline, president of 505 Games U.S. "We're confident that the whole family will have fun practicing their signature Zorro moves while actively experiencing the timeless tales of Zorro."

In The Destiny of Zorro, players don the iconic mask, whip and sword as they transform themselves into Zorro and fight as the defender of the oppressed, whose secret identity is the fictional, wealthy cabarello Don Diego de la Vega. Utilizing the exclusive motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote™ control system, players can whip, slice and of course perform Zorro's signature 'Z' slash move to bring foes to justice. When their bravado meter fills up, players can also perform special damage attacks by executing a special 'Z' slash that overpowers their enemies. The game also features both daylight and nighttime scenes, adding excitement to the diverse and challenging environments set in the sun-scorched coast and desert landscape of early 1800s Spanish California. With an enticing new story and cast of characters, The Destiny of Zorro routes players on an epic adventure filled with intrigue and surprise.

The Destiny of Zorro is rated E10+ by the ESRB, and retails for an MSRP of $39.99.

Klonoa (Wii)

Originally released for North America in 1998 as Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, Klonoa features lush storybook visuals, timeless 2.5D gameplay, new motion control based attacks as well as new modes and secrets to uncover.

Help Klonoa save Phantomile, a land formed by the dreams of its inhabitants and recently besieged by an unknown evil. Klonoa’s adventure takes him and his best friend Hewpoe through a fantastic journey across multiple kingdoms as they try to stop nightmares from spreading across the land. Along their way they will fight fearsome bosses and figure out challenging puzzles through increasingly difficult stages. Armed with his trusty Wind Bullet, Klonoa is able to inflate and grab enemies to use as tools to overcome environmental hazards and defeat other enemies.

A simple move of the Wii Remote™ will make Klonoa throw captured enemies to break obstacles, uncover hidden items or defeat other enemies. Klonoa can also use enemies he is holding to perform a double jump which allows him to reach high ledges or jump across large pits. By shaking the Nunchuk™, Klonoa can use his whirlwind to slow down approaching enemies. In addition to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls, Klonoa offers a wide range of control options for any style of play, including Wii Remote only, Classic Controller and the Nintendo GameCube™ Controller.

Experience an all new challenge after the Story mode is completed with Reverse mode. Each stage in Reverse Mode contains a hidden portal leading to a special Bonus Stage. These hidden stages will test the resolve of the most hardened Klonoa fans and require total mastery of Klonoa’s unique gameplay. Will you be able to beat them all?

Klonoa, rated “E10+” for Everyone 10 and Up, has a MSRP of $29.99.
