Vatra is currently working on two unannounced titles for one of the industry’s top publishers. The games are both for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC; the first title is due to hit the store shelves in early 2011.

"The Czech Republic has a long history of innovation and creative enterprise and this team lives up to that tradition. We are very pleased to have such a talented and creative group join Kuju’s family of studios.” said Ian Baverstock, CEO of Kuju Entertainment.

The Vatra team is built from both industry veterans and new talent, dedicated to making a real impact by advancing visual and sound aesthetics on core gaming platforms while employing highly disciplined programming and production practices. The studio is led by Matthew Seymour, formerly of Take Two and Microsoft Game Studios.

“With so many terrific games being created these days by gifted developers all around the world, this is truly an exciting time to start this new venture.” said Matthew Seymour.
