Bomberman Live: Battlefest will feature the same frantic action with 8-person online multiplayer that the series is known for, as well as a wealth of all-new features, including teams, new modes, new arenas, new power-ups, new costumes, and even the ability to use an avatar as a playable character.

Since winning ‘Best Overall XBLA Game’ and ‘Best Competitive Multiplayer Game’ in the first-ever Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards at GDC 2008, Bomberman LIVE reignited the fuses of Bomberman fans around the world. In Bomberman Live: Battlefest, players will be able to choose from more arenas than ever, including an Adventure Island-themed arena, a shape-shifting MultiMaze and a Pirate Ship crashing through the waves. With the all new team play feature, 2-4 players can join up, battle other teams and set the online world on fire! 

Players will also be able to customize their own Bomberman by choosing from a plethora of new costumes, as they mix and match pieces of Napoleon Bombaparte, Chef Bombardee, Sir Bombalot and more.  With five new power-ups like the cluster bomb, rocket bomb and laser bomb, and four new modes like VIP, Bankroll, Capture the Flag and Capture the Crown, Bomberman Live: Battlefest is sure to be a fiery addition to gaming libraries everywhere!
