by Rainier on Sept. 24, 2009 @ 12:00 a.m. PDT

Gran Turismo 5 includes more than 1,000 cars, 20+ locations with 70+ track layouts, diverse racing styles including rally, track, karting, NASCAR, and more, deep online community features and online racing, plus Gran Turismo TV, Course Maker and more.
Polyphony Digital revealed that GT5 will more than double Forza 3's number of cars, promising 1000 vehicles, 20 tracks in 60 different layouts, custom soundtrack support, and while there is a damage model, it will be limited to certain car manufacturers. While there was no Euro/North American date mentioned, it is safe to say that it will not be before the Japanese release.
