Rifts violently rip into reality across the land and release powerful forces that threaten the very existence of Telara. Each breach brings with it new characters, events, and treasures, while the world itself changes dynamically around you. Play with your friends across vast, lavishly detailed environments, or take them on head-to-head in challenging Player vs. Player (PvP) combat as you battle to uncover the secrets of the planes. Build and advance your character, choosing from several distinct races and utilizing an innovative new class system with nearly limitless possibilities.

Rifts and other dynamic events can be triggered by players, scheduled by the development team, or even occur spontaneously. Dynamic events within the game can lead to a range of changes across the world, including everything from minor events to dramatic shifts in the game’s landscape and the opening of new areas. Players will connect with hundreds of thousands of other gamers to battle creatures overrunning the world, as well as each other.

Trion Worlds is commemorating Veteran’s Day by offering with a special VIP giveaway for the upcoming MMORPG Rift for all service men and women currently serving in active duty. Any service person currently on active duty can simply send a picture of themselves in uniform to Trion via Facebok, Twitter or the official website in order to gain admission to the first exclusive play weekends for the game.

How to Enter:

Entering to win is easy: Service men and women can head to either 1) the official Rift game page (www.riftgame.com), 2) the official Twitter feed (http://twitter.com/RiftMMO)  or 3) the official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/riftgame) and post a picture in uniform, along with something in the photo that can be clearly identified as related to Rift: Planes of Telara. This can be a piece of paper with the word “RIFT”, a print out of the game’s homepage or even a picture with the Rift forums open on a monitor in the background.

Submissions are open from November  11 through November 14. After the deadline, Trion will hold a random drawing from the eligible submissions to pick those who will receive VIP Beta keys. A total of 25 VIP codes will be given out per medium (forums, Facebook, Twitter).
