Why Double Fine Is Not Making PC Ports/Games

by Rainier on Nov. 25, 2010 @ 2:51 p.m. PST

In 2005, Double Fine released Psychonauts, but while it was critically-acclaimed by the press, and won various awards, it sold poorly. Ever since Double Fine has been focusing on console titles only with Brütal Legend, the recent RPG Costume Quest and the upcoming Stacking. In an updated FAQ Double Fine revealed that while they have all the technology in place to produce PC versions, it all depends on the publisher to fund the ports, which so far they have not requests/supported due to the lack of financial rewards.
