Get the PT Boats: Knights of the Sea v1.3 Patch WP (48mb)

This free v1.3 patch for the original Battlefront.com English language version of PT Boats - Knights of the Sea fixes a couple of bugs in the original game, but more importantly, it adds a completely new feature: the same full featured Mission Editor that is now available in the self-standing add-on PT Boats: South Gambit is now available for the original game as well, and included in this patch!

This v1.31 patch is for the original Battlefront.com English language version of PT Boats - Knights of the Sea ONLY! If you have not purchased PT Boats directly from www.battlefront.com, then do not use this patch. This patch is NOT for you if you only own the South Gambit expansion - that expansion already includes the Mission Editor contained in this patch.

The Mission Editor allows you to create an unlimited number of new missions for PT Boats - Knights of the Sea. Editing the existing stock missions in the campaigns is not possible.

When installing this patch, please pay attention to the installation path you select. The patch must be installed into an existing PT Boats game directory. This patch installs the Mission Editor in a separate link in your Program Group.

PT Boats is dedicated to a small group of little known but perhaps some of the most daring naval combatants of World War II: the torpedo boat crews. These ships are small, fast and agile, and extremely dangerous due to the on-board torpedo launchers. But they are also the most vulnerable of all military vessels. More than once in the history of WWII, a handful of those little deadly boats helped decide the course of an entire battle and executed seemingly impossible missions.

They were called the "mosquito fleet" because of their unique combat tactics. Using speed and agility, dodging enemy fire, PT boats approached seemingly giant enemy ships in a fight of David against Goliath, stung them with well aimed torpedo volleys - and immediately withdrew!

The casualties were immense, but the results often worth these lives and sacrifices. These small heroes of the great war made an unforgettable contribution to the Allied victory.
