Men of War: Vietnam is a new game in the series, with two new story-driven campaigns let you taste the explosive mix of the jungle, Hueys and rock-n-roll in 1968.

“We are excited to work with 1C on these great RTS games for a successful release in our territories. Men of War is a well-known RTS brand. The first Men of War game was critically acclaimed by the games press all around the world. We're very much looking forward to seeing Men of War: Assault Squad and Men of War: Vietnam continuing this success story for all our trade partners. Thus, we're looking forward to a fruitful long-term partnership with 1C ”, says Jason Codd, European Managing Director, Lace Mamba Global.

“The astounding success of the previous Men of War titles digitally has proven there is a great demand for the series from PC gamers. 1C is therefore delighted to have teamed up with a retail publishing partner who understands the series and is as enthusiastic about it as 1C – and their customers – are. We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Lace Mamba Global”, says Darryl Still – International Publishing Director of 1C Publishing.

Men of War: Assault Squad

Men of War: Assault Squad is the brand new title in the Men of War series. This stand-alone takes place across the globe during the height of World War II and features a completely new cooperative skirmish game mode with access to five different nations (Russia, Germany, USA, Commonwealth and – for the first time ever in the Men of War series – Japan) as well as increased realism and accessibility. Men of War: Assault Squad will deliver fans and newcomers an intense new WW2 spectacle with almost limitless replay ability.
Like previous games in the series, Men of War: Assault Squad includes the unique “direct control” feature which enables players to manoeuvre units using the WASD controls, rather than pointing and clicking. PC Generals can get behind the controls of a tank to smash through obstacles, crush soldiers under its tracks, fire armour-piercing shells at enemy emplacements, or take control of individual soldiers as they fight.

Men of War: Vietnam

Men of War: Vietnam is a new game for the critically acclaimed series. The new, story driven campaign lets you taste the explosive mix of the jungle, Hueys and rock-n-roll in 1968.
During this conflict the US troops were using not only new weapons, but new tactics as well. The war in Vietnam became the first military conflict where helicopters played a significant role, and this is one of the major features of this game.
The campaign of 10 missionsfocuses on a team of elite special ops soldiers, and each one of them has a personality. The unit includes Sergeant John Merrill, machine gunner Jim Walsh, sniper Sonny Armstrong, grenade launcher operator Carl Dillan and combat engineer Bill Kirby. In some missions they can count only on themselves, while in the others they act together with regular US and South-Vietnamese troops.
Missions range from special operations (rescuing a shot-down pilot, escorting a reporter, etc.) to full scale battles
