'Camon Hero' Details Card Summoning System - Screens

by Rainier on Feb. 15, 2010 @ 12:08 p.m. PST

Camon Hero provides players with a gameplay experience like no other as you journey through the land of Aria in order to save its citizens from the forces of darkness. During the adventure players will come across mystical cards that grant them the ability to summon creatures and people to assist them in battle so they will not be alone on their dangerous quest.

Camon Hero offers card summoning and card creation systems, crafting, item dismantling, never-ending quests, unique PVP battles and much more.

Camon Hero is based on the ever-popular Trading Card Game genre and players familiar with that style of gameplay will find terminology and gameplay similarities in Camon Hero. But this time the monsters are real and the action is in real-time!

Camon Hero has no fixed classes so gamers can customize their character's stats so they can wield both magic and melee weapons or be a purist and focus solely on magic. Like a good trading card game, Camon Hero gives the player the option to customize and create their own gameplay style! The knowledge and power to perform skills is also bound to cards so that the possibilities in combat become endless. Deciding what cards to include in their summon hand and managing their Stack Cooldown Times will help them maintain control of the field.

Camon Hero features both PvE field combat and instanced mission based combat! Giant Bosses will test the skills of players, their friends and their decks! And what would a TGC MMORPG be without numerous PvP modes so players can test their deck against other Camon Heroes.

Camon Hero features a unique card summoning system that allows players to find and collect hundreds of Summon Cards and use them to create allies that will fight alongside players to the death! Ranging from healers to magicians to guardians, a player's success depends on how they utilize this vast array of potential companions. In step 1 of the summoning system, the player will attack a monster and if a card drops, the player can pick it up and with a shortcut or right click on the monster in their monster hand to summon it to the field. If the player chooses, they can continue to summon many monsters to fight for them or the player can make things even more exciting by joining in the battle alongside the monsters.

"It may seem astounding but with a standard 10 card hand a player can make over 17 trillion unique hands in Camon Hero," said JK Kim, CEO of Uforia. "This massive amount of combinations that the summoning system provides gives players a chance to truly be unique in creating their own style of play."

The magician, healer and guardian monsters are just a few of the vast types of cards in the game. A magician type monster will cast "Area of Effect Spells" or attack with Ranged Magic. A healer will heal the player's hero and other monsters in play and a guardian summons tend to have high HP and attack at close range. Using all three together will provide the player with a durable team with crowd control and survivability.

When playing alone, a player will want to use a balanced team that complements their current character archetype. If I'm playing as a healer a player might drop healing monsters from their hand and use more Guardian types and Ranged and Magic types to increase their damage output. If the player is in a party attempting a raid, each player might want to specialize on a specific function. A Player acting as a tank might use a hand that is composed only of Guardian, Healing, and Buffing monsters, while the other members use hands that focus on damage or crowd control.
