Good Old Games Adds Even More Classic Activision Titles

by Rainier on Feb. 18, 2010 @ 4:58 a.m. PST

GOG.com has signed a digital distribution agreement with Activision, expanding its catalog with a slew of classic titles, Caesar 3 and The Interstate '76 Arsenal, while more titles will be unveiled gradually in the coming weeks, DRM-free of course.

After releasing great adventure games last week (Space Quest pack and Phantasmagoria) it's time to bring fans of good old games something different.

Caesar 3 ($5.99) is a city building sim by Sierra On-Line, in which you build and govern a Roman settlement, with all the complexity you can expect from such a task. It is considered by many to be the best installment of the four-part Caesar series. Check if you are the next Caesar or will you end up as lunch for the lions?

The Interstate '76 Arsenal ($5.99) is the vehicular combat game, bundled with the Nitro Pack expansion to form the Arsenal combo pack. With the United States in the middle of a massive oil crisis and the American South-West plagued by gangs of autovillains, it's up to vigilantes like you to give these "creepers" a taste of their own medicine.
