Good Old Games Continues to Add Classic Activision Titles

by Rainier on Feb. 23, 2010 @ 12:12 p.m. PST

GOG.com has signed a digital distribution agreement with Activision, expanding its catalog with a slew of classic titles, Gabriel Knight 2, King's Quest 4+5+6 and Call to Power 2, while more titles will be unveiled gradually in the coming weeks, DRM-free of course.

Available now is Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within ($5.99), the second and considered by many as the best part in the point and click series by Sierra. This time Gabriel and Grace are conducting separate investigations which will lead them to the mystery of the "Black Wolf". The game is a classic point and click adventure, but it's also the example of how good FMV (full motion video) games can be.

While that's our only release today we have two games that will be available on Thursday! King's Quest 4+5+6 pack ($9.99) - Robera Williams' famous point and click series, and Call to Power 2 ($5.99) - the strategy that allows you to lead the civilization from pre-history to the future realms of science fiction, are the games which end the Month of Activision on GOG.com.
