'Future Wars' German Patch #2 Available NOW

Future Wars is a round based strategy-title that will bring the game back to the genres’ roots by creating definite rules, a rich story and classic gameplay elements. Players of the older generation, fans of customizing and also newbies of the genre will feel themselves homelike in Future Wars.

Patch #2 Changes:

  • # Ein falscher Buttontext im Achievementsscreen wurde ersetzt (nur englische Installation)
  • # Ein Fehler, wodurch Einheiten mehrmals in einer Runde benutzt werden konnten, ist behoben
  • # Ein Problem beim Beenden der Spielerrunde nach dem Anzeigen des Angriffsradius einer Einheit wurde behoben
  • # Ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit der Schnellspeicherfunktion (F6) wurde behoben
  • # Bei Problemen mit dem Abspielen der Firmenvideos, können die Videos mittels Kommandozeilen-Eintrag übersprungen werden. Dazu führt man einen rechtsklick auf das Desktop-Symbol von Future Wars aus und wählt Eigenschaften. In die Zeile "Ziel", an die hinterste Stelle gehen, ein Leerzeichen setzen und folgendes Eintragen (!dabei nichts von den bestehenden Einträgen löschen und ohne Anführungszeichen!): "-novideo"
  • # Ein Absturz in der Kampagne (campaign_14) behoben
  • # Es wurden mögliche ungültige Züge der KI, verursacht durch Werte-Modifikation, behoben
  • # Eine falsche Anzeige des Angriffs-Radius durch Änderung der Werte-Tabelle wurde behoben
  • # Ein fehlerhafte Darstellung von Bodentexturen nach mehrfachem Wechsel von Textur-Mods wurde behoben.
  • # Die Änderungen sind auf alle Profile wirksam, es muss kein neues Profil angelegt werden.

Similar to classic titles such as Advance Wars and Battle Isle, the game takes turn-based strategy gaming away from the micro-management overkill that it has become and using simple, proven rock-paper-scissors principles, reopens the genre to a wider audience.
