Good Old Games Adds Classic Atari Titles

by Rainier on April 20, 2010 @ 4:20 a.m. PDT

GOG.com has signed a digital distribution agreement with Atari, expanding its catalog with a slew of classic titles, starting with Outcast, Master of Orion and Master of Magic, while more titles will be unveiled gradually in the coming weeks, DRM-free of course.

After heating up the atmosphere by announcing the deal with Atari on CD Projekt Spring Conference 2010 at the end of March, GOG.com is finally ready to start releasing the classics from the famous publisher.

Today we're starting with a big bang - Outcast and Master of Orion 1+2 pack are now available on GOG.com for only $5.99 each! The coming soon section gets One Unit Whole Blood and Master of Magic.

Outcast is one of the best and the most underrated action-adventure games in the history of PC gaming. The game received a lot of praise from the gaming media, but didn't manage to attain the well deserved commercial success. Well, now it's time to make it up. The game comes with soundtrack, "making of" video and "Outcast outtakes" video.

Master of Orion 1+2 is a pack of two great 4X science-fiction strategy games. Huge amount of options and absorbing gameplay will keep every fan of strategy games entertained for weeks. The game comes with soundtrack and wallpaper.
