'Major League Baseball 2K10' (ALL) Million Dollar Competition Winner To Be Revealed On TV

by Rainier on May 5, 2010 @ 12:00 a.m. PDT

Major League Baseball 2K10 celebrates baseball's core battle: pitchers vs. hitters. Improved pitching mechanics and right-stick swing controls let you pound the strike zone and rake like a pro, along with a totally revamped fielding system, hundreds of new signature animations and a star player rating system that brings the action to life like never before.

The winner of an unprecedented cash prize in the amount of $1,000,000 for the first person to throw a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K10, will be revealed live during the Wednesday morning broadcast of CBS’ The Early Show. Viewers across the nation can tune-in to their local CBS channel between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. to watch the exclusive unveiling of the million dollar winner.

“The interest and buzz leading up to this moment has been more than we could have ever imagined and we’re excited to introduce our winner on a national stage,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports.

In January 2010, 2K Sports announced a contest to award an unprecedented $1,000,000 to the first person who threw a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K10, the newest release in the popular Major League Baseball 2K series. This special contest illustrated 2K Sports' dedication to delivering vastly improved gameplay and pitching mechanics this season in Major League Baseball 2K10.
