At the heart of PS3 is the Cell Broadband Engine, one of the most advanced computer processors in the world, that enables massive floating point calculation, and Blu-ray Disc (BD) drive, providing a High Definition (1080p) next-generation gaming and movie experience in the home, as well as up to 50 GB of data capacity.
Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a slew of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers (WipEout HD, inFAMOUS, Fat Princess, etc..) bundles for Midway and TikGames, Lego Harry Potter demo, DLCs for PAIN, Fat Princess, DJ Hero, Super Street Fighter IV, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Trinity Universe, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, and the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes, downloadable PSP/PS0ne games (Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play, Hot Shots Tennis: Get A Grip, Bejeweled 2).
