Zoo Games Indie Label Acquires New Titles

by Rainier on Sept. 9, 2010 @ 5:38 p.m. PDT

Zoo Entertainment announced that its indiePub Games subsidiary has acquired a number of innovative titles to be released by Zoo on various platforms.

The first of the three releases, Dreams combines the addicting nature of spot-the-difference games with visually stimulating artwork; Dreams’ visuals set a new level of artistry and creativity within the genre. Slated for release on Nintendo DS at the end of year, Dreams will be bundled along with three other similar games created by developer, DifferenceGames.

From puzzlers to action and strategy, Go to Hell! and Summoner World are being developed for a multitude of hand-held platforms. Set to be released on iPhone, iPad, Droid and 3DS, Summoner World is an action-strategy game in which the player uses gestures and quick hand movements to summon their units and stave off enemies. Go to Hell! will be released on similar platforms that include iPhone, iPad, Droid, PSP Mini and PC flash. The action title challenges its player to collect gold coins on a 666-meter descent through Hades all the while, avoiding enemies and pitfalls meant to sabotage a successful dig to the fiery base of hell.

IndiePub demonstrates Zoo’s ability to acquire content appropriate for a wide array of platforms. “The indiePub platform has accounted for six new game signings, ranging from console platforms to handheld and mobile,” said Mark Seremet, CEO of Zoo. “We’re looking forward to the success of these releases and our continued partnerships with great developers from around the world.”
