NBA 2K11 delivers the most realistic, stylistic, and feature-rich simulation experience ever available in the NBA 2K franchise – from gameplay to graphics, presentation and online features.

NBA 2K11 is the latest installment in the best selling, and highest rated NBA videogame series.  NBA 2K11 is the best way to plug into NBA culture.  It’s the most fun, authentic NBA videogame experience and is for any sports fan with that competitive fire who wants to play the best NBA simulation on the market. It’s the NBA series that everyone is playing – from the most elite NBA athletes and superstars to the local court gym rats. NBA 2K10 delivered on its promise to take over, and NBA 2K11 will on build on that momentum by dialing up all of its features – gameplay, AI, presentation, visuals, audio, online and more – to deliver the best basketball videogame experience ever.

14-time NBA All-Star, five-time NBA Most Valuable Player, six-time NBA World Champion and recent Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Jordan, will appear on the cover of NBA 2K11. Jordan, who is considered by many as the greatest basketball player in history, will fittingly team up with the NBA 2K series.

2K Sports is paying homage to the NBA legend by placing him on the cover of its award-winning franchise. NBA 2K11 will continue to build upon the outstanding success of the NBA 2K series with continued improvements to the graphics, gameplay, signature styles and game modes seen in previous iterations.

This Sunday, January 16th, SCEA will be offering a free title update to your NBA 2K11 game that will allow PS3 users, who have a 3D television and online connectivity, to experience NBA 2K11 in 3D! Just pop your game in and it will update before the title screen. From there, you can turn on your TV’s 3D capabilities, grab those awesome 3D glasses, and experience the NBA game you love with an extra layer of depth (an extra dimension even!) to what many have hailed as the deepest, most immersive, and best sports game of this generation.

The 3D version of the game will play normally on any television set; however, a 3D HD television with compatible 3D active glasses will be needed to enjoy the game in three dimensions (PS3 system software v3.30 (or later), 3D display with compatible 3D active glasses and high-speed HDMI cable (all sold separately) required for 3D features.). All current owners of NBA 2K11 for the PS3 will be able to download an upgrade to enable their game to play in 3D for free from the PlayStation Store.
