by Rainier on Jan. 5, 2011 @ 1:38 p.m. PST

UTV True Games announced that it has strengthened its management team and its international business development outreach with the appointment of Sean Lim as the new International Business Development Director for the company.

As UTV True Games prepares to launch its strongest global lineup to-date with the 2011 launches of Faxion Online, Mytheon, Sky Legends, Planet Crashers and more, Lim will be responsible for identifying and establishing global partnerships for the products.

Among Lim's objectives will be to raise UTV True Games' profile on a global scale by establishing new business opportunities and partnerships abroad as the company prepares to launch free-to-play online titles that will span several genres and platforms including online and for the iPhone/iPad devices globally throughout North America, Europe and Asia in 2011.

"UTV True Games knows the tremendous value of the global gaming market and has always made the international markets a priority, and now we are taking it to the next level by adding someone with Sean's extensive experience in international business development in the gaming industry," said Jeff Lujan, CEO of UTV True Games. "The new business partnerships Sean will create and foster will help us to achieve our aggressive goals and add tremendous value to the company by taking advantage of some currently untapped opportunities."

Lim brings almost 10 years of gaming industry experience to the newly created role of International Business Development Director. Most recently Lim served as New and Overseas Business Development Director for one of Korea's largest online gaming businesses, CJ Internet, where he was responsible for global marketing and licensing for such games as Magu Magu, Mini Fighter and Sudden Attack. Prior to his role at CJ Internet, Lim spent several years at Yahoo! Korea where he initiated mobile search service, developed casual games and a game publishing platform, and sourced and launched the hugely popular SilkRoad Online in Korea. Prior to Yahoo! Korea, Lim served in key advertising roles at top Korean Ad agencies including LG Ad Inc. and DMB & B where he worked on high-profile electronics and consumer goods from Proctor & Gamble, LG, Philips and more for nearly 10 years. Lim is fluent in Korean and English and speaks conversational Chinese.

"Gaming has long been a passion of mine and I have spent years learning and honing my skills and contacts within the global gaming market," said Sean Lim, International Business Development Director for UTV True Games. "Now is such an exciting time for me to join UTV True Games as they diversify their portfolio and utilize the latest in gaming technology and social networking. My background combined with their forward-thinking product lineup is a genuine recipe for success."
