Warspire is a collectible fantasy RTS featuring massive head-to-head realtime strategy action with units and heroes available from all six factions in the SAGA universe.

Warspire is the most advanced RTS running on the Unity 3D engine to date. Unlike other browser-based games, Warspire features a full 3D environment and real-time control. Buildings and units are built and deployed in real time and controlled with a fully-featured graphical user interface comparable to those seen in the most popular contemporary RTS games. The game runs on both Mac and PC.

In keeping with this persistency theme, players can select heroes for their army which can level up, gaining greater power and new abilities. This progress is maintained from match to match. The Beta launch comes after the successful Alpha testing of the previous month. The servers have been wiped to create a clean slate for Beta testing. New and old players can sign up for the Beta for immediate approval and play. The Beta will focus on PvP battles with 1v1 and 2v2 options. A tutorial is also available to help players get started.

Beta launched with two armies available to players – the Light and Undead factions. Four additional factions are planned for release as time goes on. The game is free-to-play, with additional units available to players for purchase with in-game or real life currency. Credits can be purchased via Paypal at www.warspire.com. Once purchased, units become a part of a player’s persistent customizable army. Hero units gain experience and levels that carry over between matches.

“We wanted to provide Beta players with an amazing opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Warspire by providing them with some exclusives,” said Jason Faller, CEO of Silverlode Interactive. “Those who contribute to the Beta phase will receive two free heroes in their starting army, as well as five dollars in free credits.”
