'Dino Storm' Closed Beta Keeps Getting Delayed

by Rainier on Nov. 23, 2011 @ 11:23 a.m. PST

Under the leadership of the Sheriff, players in Dino Storm set out to hunt down the evil rogues, who don’t shy from theft, arson and robbery in their thirst for gold and are terrorizing the inhabitants of DinoVille.

The Hamburg-based developer and publisher Splitscreen Studios has announced a postponement of the 3D browser game Dino Storm. Rather than starting as planned on November 23rd, 2011, the closed beta phase of the strange western spectacular about dinosaurs and science fiction laser weapons will launch at the beginning of 2012.

Mark Buchholz, Development Director at Splitscreen Studios and the person responsible for the Dino Storm title, says: ‘Unfortunately, the concrete implementation of our ideas for Dino Storm has required more time than we hoped. We want to present our users with a finished product and keep the closed beta as short as possible in order to give everyone quick access to the game. It is also our goal to identify and eliminate bugs in advance to ensure untarnished enjoyment of the game right from the start.’
