Fishing Resort is a a new title themed around arcade-style fishing and recreations that drops players into a tropical island locale which they can explore as they see fit – this is a vacation after all!

Fishing Resort turns players loose on a tropical island paradise resort and lets them experience their vacation as they see fit. Fishing Resort’s environment is incredibly varied thanks to the island’s multitude of locations, from peaceful lakes and dense, lush forests to sandy beaches, deep blue seas and even ice-covered mountains. Best of all, as an open-world game, players can move about the island as they choose and enjoy a wide variety of fishing activities at their own pace.

Fishing Resort also offers an array of challenges for players who are looking for a break from the fishing action. With over 20 different mini-games from kayak racing to scavenger hunts around the island, as well as submarine tours and the ability to customize your own massive aquarium, Fishing Resort is full of activities. When players want to fish though, they can rest assured that they won’t have to go far to catch some of the game’s 200-plus fish. In Fishing Resort, wherever there is water, players can fish!

Fishing Resort uses high-quality fishing rod controller peripheral that attaches the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to mimic the movements of fishing with a rod and reel, providing an unprecedented virtual fishing experience.

Fishing Resort will bundle in North America with the fishing rod accessory for $29.99, as well as offer the game as a standalone game for of $19.99.
