Oil Rush is a real-time strategy game based on the group control, offering mechanics of a classical RTS combined with a Tower Wars genre: control construction and upgrading of production platforms as well as their defense forces, and send battle groups of naval and air units to capture enemy's platforms and oil rigs.

Challenging gameplay takes you through rushing swarms of furious enemies in every battle. The winning requires intellegent branching of technology researches and all the variety of tactics you can employ.

Multiplayer over LAN and Internet is also available in the game.

In the post-apocalyptic flooded world there are two things running short: oil and time. The last survivors in a desperate desire to seize control and dominate the enemy have started the naval warfare that made the whole world one large battlefield.

The key of survival in the devastated world is to keep forcing the high-paced advancement of military technologies never ceasing to introduce new types of combat units. In these harsh and cruel times, oil is thicker than blood.

Strategy game has never been so impressingly photo-realistic, especially considering moderate hardware requirements: the game runs smoothly on middle-end PC and PS3. The visual excellence of OilRush is powered by top-notch render of Unigine engine allowing tons of special effects.

OilRush catches the eye with huge battles, massive explosions and burning wrecks in swirling waters as the sky is streaked with fiery traces of dashing missiles. Ultimately devastating nukes look even more spectacular bringing death to the rest of humanity.

Cross-platform Unigine engine enables native Linux version of OilRush filling the gap in modern games available for this platform. Linux version of the game will be released simultaneously with Windows one. OilRush provides console-friendly interface bringing an enticing experience of strategy game to PS3 users. Despite the ease of controls, the game thrills with blood-boiling dynamics and demand all of your strategic skills.

Erik Schreuder, CEO at Iceberg Interactive, says: “We are delighted to announce the signing of OIL RUSH, yet another example of the superior strategy titles that we publish. We are convinced this title will attract hoards of gamers, as this is a stunning strategy game with a just a hint of tower defense added for good measure. Anton Ravin, Managing Director of UNIGINE Corp. Europe says: “Oil Rush is a lot of fun to play and looks great on any platform! A great example of how powerful and versatile UNIGINE Engine is.
