'Ape Escape' (PS3) Making A Move - Screens

by Rainier on March 11, 2011 @ 2:34 p.m. PST

Ape Escape combines exciting colorful action and hilarious monkey humor with a host of new features for PS3 - including full compatibility with the PlayStation Move motion controller.

Quit monkeying around and prepare to go utterly ape in a fun adventure for everyone - from mischievous little monkeys to grown-up silver-backs!

Ape Escape sees a breed of cheeky space chimps invading planet Earth - it’s down to you to catch the critters and save the day! Jump from one crazy location to another in 15 stages of monkey mayhem as you track down the evil primate leader, Specter. Watch the PlayStation Move motion controller transform into a host of gadgets to catch those pesky monkeys – from the Monkey Net, Slingshot and Smasher to some seriously crazy super-gadgets like the Banana Zapper and Ape Vacuum. Use your new tools in two types of gameplay - bash off apes in Chase battles or attack and defend simultaneously to prevent monkeys from grabbing your bananas in fast-paced Capture battles.

Short of time and looking for a quick escape? Head over to the mini-games section where you can play three exciting mini-games – each game is unlocked as you smash through story mode. Pay a visit to the Goodies section to review your monkey manoeuvres or hone your chimp grabbing skills in a training session to see how each of the gadgets work. Ape enthusiasts can also log in to Monkeypedia, and check out over 500 different monkeys available to capture.

With its hilarious gameplay and non-stop action, Ape Escape is an exciting Move exclusive game for PS3 that will keep the whole family entertained.
