Game Controllers Are So Yesterday, Use Your Brain!

by Rainier on March 29, 2011 @ 3:33 a.m. PDT

NeuroSky Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) allows people to gain insights into their brain at a level previously only available to medical and brain researchers. NeuroSky headsets allow each wearer to put thoughts into action.

From April 13th to April 17th at the NEC in Birmingham, NeuroSky will be previewing their newest product: the NeuroSky MindWave headset (featuring Roll7 Games) and the MyndPlay Video & Movie Platform.

At the Gadget Show, NeuroSky will introduce the MindWave brainwave headset. For the first time this lightweight, easy to use, headset comes with a bundle of 12 custom games and is available on PC and Mac at an affordable price of €99. Additional games and applications can be downloaded from www.NeuroSky.com.

Also making its European debut is MyndPlay, the world's first mind controlled media player and platform which allows viewers an engaging, innovative new level of interactivity with live motion. MyndPlay gives the user the ability to interact with and change the direction and outcome of a video or movie using only their minds. Applications available for demonstration will also be provided by NeuroSky's European partner, Roll7.

Prior to Gadget Show Live, appointments to demo NeuroSky's revolutionary technology are available in London on Friday, April 8th, and Monday, April 11th as well as at the Gadget Show Live pre-show for press on the 12th, and during the conference between April 13th and 17th.
