'Tactical Intervention' Closed Beta Kicks Off In Europe Next Month - Screens

by Rainier on April 8, 2011 @ 7:31 p.m. PDT

Tactical Intervention takes aim at maximize strategic team play, and is set in the modern battle between terrorists and counter terrorism team.

Tactical Intervention brings a new concept to a standard FPS game, putting the players in challenging scenarios that emphasize teamwork and thinking as well as lightning fast reflexes. The game promotes reality through motion capture-like animation and photo-realistic environments, a step-up from the original Counter-Strike.

Tactical Intervention is a game of team-play, where the proper use of dogs, helicopters, cars, and environments can give teams an advantage over their adversaries. These new elements create a dynamic environment that gives each round a unique feel and challenges the players to always be aware of his surroundings.

All of these features are vividly portrayed using Valve's latest Source engine. Experience the chaos of firefights within an extremely immersive and interactive environment. Networking and physics have been fully optimized to make the gameplay experience as smooth as possible while still retaining a large number of dynamic objects in the playing world.

Meant to be a realistic yet fun shooter, Tactical Intervention will cater to both battle hardened clan warriors and the casual FPS fan.

Interested FPS gamers may apply for the Beta and check out mission briefings at the official Tactical Intervention website. CBT keys will be distributed to successful applicants via email in late April 2011.

The focus for CBT Phase One will be to fine tune game and item balance. Beta testers will have an opportunity to test out brand new, never before seen experimental cash items! Both MAYN Interactive and FIXKorea understand the importance of community feedback, and test suggestions will be utilized to improve the game.

Phase One of the European Closed Beta Test (CBT) for Tactical Intervention will be starting on Friday 6 May 2011!
