Chuck E. Cheese’s is bringing the fun and excitement of a much-loved Chuck E. tradition into the homes of families everywhere with its new online Skeeball game, allowing kids and families to experience their favorite Chuck E. arcade game – both inside and outside of the store.

The online Skeeball game is open to children of all ages – including those young at heart – to play and win up to 40 free tickets redeemable for cool prizes on their next Chuck E. Cheese’s store visit.

“For as long as we can remember, one of everyone’s favorite arcade games at Chuck E. Cheese’s has been Skeeball,” said Brenda Holloway, Chuck E. Cheese’s marketing manager. “We’re always looking for new ways to bring the one-of-a-kind Chuck E. Cheese’s legacy to families even when they can’t be with us in stores, and the new online Skeeball game is the perfect example of that. For the first time, kids and parents can play a long-time favorite right from their home while still winning tickets for great prizes.”

Kids and families can join in on playing this Chuck E. classic right from the Web from any Internet browser. To begin, kids use their mouse to move left or right on the screen to select which part of the lane to use, then click the mouse button when the moving ball on the accuracy meter is in the middle of the target to launch the balls up the ramp. After rolling all nine balls, kids can print a free ticket reward certificate redeemable for up to 40 tickets to use on their next visit to the popular family entertainment establishment. One certificate can be redeemed per child, per day.

Skeeball was invented in 1909 by J.D. Estes in Philadelphia and has been a fun part of the Chuck E. Cheese’s experience since the company’s beginnings in 1977. In 1932, the first ever Skeeball tournament was held in Atlantic City, and today Skeeball is a nationally-played, competitive and social sport with leagues under various banners. Chuck E. Cheese’s guests are invited to join the Skeeball fun, while combining their free ticket vouchers with all other store coupons and offers, for even more fun, food and games with the family. Because all games at Chuck E. Cheese’s can be enjoyed with just one token, this can provide hours of fun-filled entertainment the whole family can enjoy.

Chuck E. Cheese’s encourages families to share their own experiences with this Chuck E. favorite by emailing pictures or videos where they may turn up on Chuck E.’s Facebook page. Guests can find the online Skeeball experience as well as other Chuck-E games and offers, on the Chuck E. Cheese’s website. For even more fun, visit the Chuck E.
