He Was Like A Lantern, He Helped Me To See Things Clear

Well, yesterday was no fun. Our WorthDownloading server was hanging on by a thread for some reason and then ended up dying with a hard drive crash. While I was trying to tend to that emergency, the main WorthPlaying server went belly-up as well.

Both Web sites run off different, dedicated servers due to the volume of traffic they generate, and they're even in two different locations, so conspiracy theories were flying through my head. What are the chances of two servers in different locations crapping out at the same time? Slim to none.

While the WorthPlaying issue was easily fixed (a stupid router issue), the WD fix might take a little longer. Turns out our promised hardware upgrades never happened. The old equipment just gave out, and a new HD has already been plugged in, but we need to reinstall a bunch of stuff to make it operational.
