With its timeless setting, unique car handling and renewed playability, and over 100 licensed vehicles, Driver San Francisco will revitalize the classic free-roaming, cinematic car chase experience.

Gamers will play as Detective John Tanner on a relentless manhunt for crime lord Charles Jericho through the hills of the City by the Bay. Thanks to a groundbreaking gameplay feature, players can now seamlessly "shift" between well over 100 licensed vehicles, keeping them constantly in the heart of the action. With its timeless setting, unique car handling and renewed playability, Driver San Francisco will revitalize the classic free-roaming, cinematic car chase experience for the current generation of gaming platforms.

In addition to yesterday's free Driver Uplay Passport content, Ubisoft announced new free multiplayer content and a game-to-web service for Driver San Francisco.

On September 15th, 12 new routes for all online modes will be made available for free. Then for the following 10 weeks an additional 10 free routes will also be made available, 1 per week.

Starting now, Driver San Francisco offers an exclusive Games-to-Web / Community service called Driver Club, which allows players to:

  • Unlock exclusive achievements
  • Find your stats and check the leaderboards
  • Showcase your film director clips
  • See and rate your friends’ clips
  • Review the Community facts
  • Follow your friends’ activities using the Driver Social feed
