'Family Guy Online' Welcomes Adam West At E3

by Rainier on June 3, 2012 @ 8:38 p.m. PDT

Family Guy Online is a free-to-play, browser-based, 3D multiplayer game.

All you need is a browser with the awesome Unity Web Player installed, and a web connection of course. You can create a character, become a citizen of virtual Quahog, and play and interact with your friends and favorite show characters.

The show’s writers are part of the game development team, ensuring all the characters, dialogue and storylines make for an authentic Family Guy experience. Clips from the show are also integrated into gameplay as rewards or to provide clues for missions. Also, because the game is built on the flexible Unity platform, the writers and developers can take advantage of current events, adding everything from the latest pop culture missteps to the most up-to-date news on the presidential election, quickly and seamlessly.

Meet Adam West, the voice of the eccentric “Adam West, Mayor of Quahog,” on the Emmy Award-winning animated TV series, Family Guy, and new online game, Family Guy Online.

A special opportunity to meet Mayor West in-person for a signing and fan meet & greet for Family Guy Online, on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. (PDT), which launched in open beta earlier in April. In addition, attendees can receive an exclusive E3 item signed by Adam West.

Adam West will be at Booth #F28 (Located on the 2nd floor outside of the South Hall entrance near the business center/across from Starbucks)
