Currently the company website is still up, services are live and the company Twitter feed is posting, though all of that may simply be automated. There is no word on when, or if, services will cease and how this may impact gamers who purchased titles on the system.

We received the following statement from OnLive’s press contact regarding the rumors of layoffs at the company:

“I have no comment on the news other than to say the OnLive service is not shutting down. I'm sorry I cannot be more specific.”
