'Young Justice: Legacy' (ALL) Gets Canceled On Wii/Wii U

by Rainier on Oct. 28, 2013 @ 3:13 p.m. PDT

Featuring an original storyline set between season 1 and 2 of the TV series, Young Justice: Legacy is packed with fan favorite playable characters, cameo appearances by popular Justice League heroes and villains, and includes online multiplayer as well as local multiplayer modes.

In Young Justice, teenage heroes Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis are tasked by the Justice League to act as their covert operations team. Armed with superior skills, weaponry and powers, the team must do battle against a wide array of villains from the DC Universe while trying to prove to themselves, and to their superhero mentors, that they too have what it takes to be a hero. Their journey is further complicated when they face the many unpredictable obstacles that arise in their path from inexperience and youth.

Little Orbit issued the following statement:

Based on several factors we've had to cancel the Wii and Wii-U versions of Young Justice: Legacy.

We regret that this decision will prevent some fans from playing the game and the finding out what happens in the story. There were a number of reasons ranging from quality issues to lack of retailer support, but know that we didn't make this decision lightly. We are a fairly new company, and unfortunately both of these platforms presented challenges we couldn't overcome.

Please accept our sincere apology.

We look forward to delivering the Xbox360, PS3, 3DS, and Steam versions in less than a month.
