Based on the Aliens movie, Aliens: Colonial Marines is a squad-based first-person shooter where players are part of a United States Colonial Marine squad and must prepare to face an Aliens assault more intense and horrific than ever before.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a first-person shooter set after the events of "Aliens" and is designed to provide an exhilarating and engaging new chapter in the Aliens universe. Players blast their way through hordes of Xenomorphs on the USS Sulaco, the surface of LV-426 and Hadley's Hope, using weapons inspired by the film series.

Customers who preorder or purchase the first person shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines at Walmart will receive the game’s upcoming first pack of downloadable content for free (while supplies last) when it becomes available in March 2013.

Aliens: Colonial Marines’ first additional content pack, “Bug Hunt” will throw players into an all-new cooperative multiplayer mode where they have to take on waves of increasingly difficult enemies (“Xenomorphs”) in three brand new maps based on environments from the ALIENS film. Equipped with deadly attack abilities, the Xenomorphs are built to kill and will hunt the Colonial Marines down relentlessly. Players will need to utilize in their best tactics, team up and cooperate against the flood of aliens, who will use every possible path in the environment to get to the Colonial Marines and destroy them.

Bug Hunt will also be available to purchase separately on Xbox Live (1200 Microsoft Points), PlayStation Network and STEAM ($14.99)
