Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new environments and a new soundtrack.
The game features a variety of uniquely-themed levels, including several musical maps set to creative soundtracks and a spooky, medieval theme.
Players also can connect online with friends for a variety of challenges that test their skill and speed, and can see where they rank on the worldwide leaderboards.
Throughout the "20,000 Lums under the Sea" underwater level, players will manipulate light and dark using gameplay mechanics requiring stealth and infiltration to defeat new types of enemies and levels.
Fans who pre-order the game at GameStop will receive exclusive character skins based on popular Ubisoft franchises:
- For Xbox 360, Rayman dressed in a Splinter Cell-themed costume
- For PlayStation 3, Rayman dressed in an Assassin’s Creed-themed costume
