'A-Men' (ALL) Also Coming To PC - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on May 9, 2013 @ 9:01 a.m. PDT

A-men, known in Asia as Assault Armies, is not a game for everyone. You can define it as a platform logic game, which is held in a specific, sort of old school, climate.

A-men is a platform-logic game reminiscent of many “old-school” platforming franchises.  Inspired by an age of games designed to challenge players to use game mechanics inventively, A-men is focused on thought provoking puzzle scenarios, absorbing entertainment, and a charmingly classic art-style.

A-Men is a demanding platform-puzzle, our tribute to the classics, like Lemmings or Lost Vikings. A-Men was first released as launch title for PS Vita and also with PS3 port. We have decided to make also PC version but we are struggling to release A-Men on PC worldwide, that is why we try to get to Steam and, apart from that, raise money (Indiegogo) for our own distribution.

What is unique about A-Men is that a player has 5 characters at his disposal (each one with different skills set) and has to play them simultaneously, to help one another to solve demanding puzzles and beat intelligent enemies.

Although, to catch a spirit of oldschool games, A-Men applies trial & error approach to learn on one's own mistakes, we've also applied "inmap saves" system - you will not have to got through whole level from the beginning, if you fail.

A-Men unfolds at A-Corp, the world's biggest producer of the robot soldiers known as A-Droids. It's where we meet A-Men's heroes, following a massive explosion at the factory which accidentally releases hundreds of lethal A-Droids. These wayward troopers must be rounded up before they cause chaos around the globe.

You'll embark on a journey through a series of vividly different worlds, featuring multiple challenges and including the Forest, Seacoast, Winterland and Factory levels.

In chasing down the A-Droids and thwarting their traps, A-MEN presents you with a series of complex puzzles. Turn the mechanical army's devious tactics back onto them and pick your enemies off one by one.

Escape with your life, then revisit each level to improve your score and refine your strategy skills.

At your disposal you'll have:

  • 5 unique characters (you will have to play them simultaneously, to help one another)
  • 15 skills
  • 40 levels
