'Skullforge: The Hunt' (ALL) Seeks Crowd Funding - Screens & Trailer

Skullforge: The Hunt is action RPG in which you take the role of Desi Cornerstone as she searches for one of the members responsible for her enslavement.

Players will be able to take on quests, hunt for treasure, participate in multi-layered conversations, and battle their way to a rich world with lots of possibilities.

Skullforge: The Hunt follows the story of Desi Cornerstone, an elven warrior who has suffered at the hands of a brutal cult.  Her quest for revenge leads her to the island of Sorova where she begins her search for one of the members who escaped from her grasp previously.  What she finds when she arrives is a troubled land in need of a hero.

OMC Games has launched a kickstarter campaign looking for $20,000 to complete development of Skullforge: The Hunt.

Why Kickstarter?

This is a good question.  The simple answer is I would like to have some custom art for the game.  Especially for Desi, a couple of bosses, and two of the main NPCs helping Desi on her journey.  My original goal was to work the whole game using assets from the Unity Asset Store.  As time went on, I figured it would be better for the game to have at least a couple of custom models.  New models don't come cheap.  On top of that, I also would like to add a couple of music tracks that are custom made for the game.

Any extra money will go towards improving the graphics and adding more music.  Ideally, we'd like to have a complete custom soundtrack, but the cost of doing such a thing is fairly heavy.  Still, if we do end up significantly over our goal, we'll probably add another person to help with graphics and effects.  However, whether we reach the goal or not, the game will be released.  It may take a little longer to get it done, but that's the goal at the moment.

Skullforge: The Hunt is also scheduled for Wii U, pending approval from Nintendo.
