'The Walking Dead: Season Two' (ALL) Coming To Vita Next Week

by Rainier on April 17, 2014 @ 3:11 p.m. PDT

The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned at the outset of the undead apocalypse, now left to her own devices to seek safety and survive in a world gone mad.

The Walking Dead is set in the world of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series and offers an emotionally-charged, tailored game experience where a player's actions and choices affect how their story plays out across the entire series.

The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.

Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad – and sometimes worse – than the dead? As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. The story you experience in The Walking Dead Season Two is driven by the choices that you make. Because of that, your story could be very different from someone else’s. If you played Season One and the DLC episode ‘400 Days’, the choices you made there will affect Season Two.

The Walking Dead: Season Two will consist of five episodes that will be released for digital download over the course of the season and will conclude in 2014.  Players can save 10% off of the purchase price of the PC/Mac versions with a pre-order of the season pass, giving them access to all five episodes for the total cost of $22.49 USD or equivalent when ordering through the Telltale Online Store, or through the Steam digital distribution service.

The Walking Dead: Season Two, Episode 1 - 'All That Remains' and Episode 2 -'A House Divided' will be available for download for PS Vita via PlayStation Store in North America on Tuesday, April 22; and in Europe on Wednesday, April 23. Each episode will be available for just US$4.99 or equivalent individually, or players can save 20% by purchasing the Season Pass, which includes access to Episodes 1 through 5 as they become available, including the upcoming Episode 3 - 'In Harm's Way.'

The first season is also now available on new platforms. The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season, which includes all 5 episodes in Season One plus the '400 Days' DLC, is now available for Android-based devices via Google Play, NVIDIA Shield via TegraZone, and Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Kindle HDX via Amazon. The first episode in the series, 'A New Day', is currently available FREE on all of these platforms.

The second season of The Walking Dead will also be coming to these platforms in the near future.
