by Rainier on April 7, 2014 @ 11:52 a.m. PDT

Warface is an online FPS, a military shooter set in the near future offering a cinematic experience with next gen visuals, AI and physics based on Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE 3 game development solution.

Warface, supported by a free-to-play business model, provides gamers with a constantly updated extensive PVE (player versus environment) universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP (player versus player) and will be available for PC via Crytek’s free-to-play social platform GFACE.

Already available on PC, Crytek has announced that the Xbox 360 version of it's free-to-play online shooter will launch on April 22, 2014.

While Warface on PC recently received two new modes, the Xbox 360 edition will also get new, daily co-operative campaign missions, and a continuous supply of new maps, weaponry, and more.
