GameStop has re-launched its U.S. PC digital distribution service, making it easier and more convenient than ever for customers to get access to the PC versions of the hottest video games around.

Starting today, the purchasing process for PC gamers is even easier. Customers will simply provide an email address to receive a receipt, instructions and code to complete an game download. Gamers can make purchases at any U.S. GameStop store, or at the GameStop website using cash, gift cards or trade credits and access titles immediately at launch, or even build up their PC video game library by stocking up on some of the classics.

“GameStop is the most recognized video game retailer in the world and a leader in providing the best shopping experience for its customers," said Alan Walters, director of merchandising at GameStop. "Until now, our digital download process had multiple steps. After receiving customer feedback over the past year, we've made improvements to simplify our digital PC game purchase and download process. Our enhancements simplify the process and offer customers a streamlined experience.”

More than 1,200 downloadable PC game titles are available for purchase at all U.S. GameStop store locations and at the GameStop website, representing one of the largest PC game selections at retail.

From May 19 through June 2, GameStop will offer up to 85 percent off PC game downloads on catalog and new titles from top publishers such as Electronic Arts, Activision, SEGA, 2K Games, Rockstar, Ubisoft, WB Games, Square Enix, Deep Silver, Namco, Capcom, Konami, NC Soft and many others, including several favorite Indie developers. GameStop supports Mac downloads for a limited number of titles.

GameStop is also offering a 30 percent trade bonus on all PC digital products including downloads, Steam Wallet cards and EA Origin cards.
